Red Hill Cellar and Pantry
a local favourite for a relaxed lunch on the deck, offering fresh seasonal salads, toasted rolls, and generous cheese and charcuterie boards paired with local wines. It’s also a great spot to pick up some of the Peninsula’s best produce and pantry goodies.

Piazza at Montalto is one of our favourites—and where we had our engagement lunch! Choose from a selection of tasty share plates, pizzas, sides and desserts – all matched with their award-winning wines. Finish the afternoon with a self-guided tour of the iconic Sculpture Trail. Open 11am-5pm daily.

Rare Hare is a vibrant winery restaurant and cellar door, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner overlooking the vines. Known for its shared plates, wood-fired cooking, and estate-grown wines, it offers a laid-back yet stylish dining experience on the Peninsula.

Foxey's Hangout
Foxeys Hangout is a destination for natural wine lovers, offering the first fully-certified biodynamic wines on the Peninsula. The terraced decks are perfect for laidback dining with low seating and uninterrupted valley views. Daily specials are written on a large blackboard in the cellar door, with small plates showcasing seasonal ingredients. Its walk-in only, and groups are limited to four persons, so gather your closest crew for the occasion. Open 11am-5pm daily.

WALKS:
Gunners Cottage to Fort Nepean Walk ‑ Point Nepean
A beautiful coastal walk that takes you to the very tip of the Mornington Peninsula ‑ it’s one for the history buffs, with local war‑time landmarks and winding cliff‑side paths to take in the views.

WALKS:
Cape Schack to Bushrangers Bay Trail
Start by exploring the local lighthouse, and end at the picturesque Bushrangers Bay. This walk is part of the Two Bays Walking Track, and takes you through the bush toward the beach.

WALKS:
Greensbush Walking Trail through National Park
Heading from Dromana to Cape Schank via Arthur’s Seat, this track is also part of the Two Bays walking trail. A bushy, but well formed path, it’s around 8km ‑ you might want a car at either end!

SWIM SPOTS:
Sorrento Back Beach, Sorrento
Sorrento Back Beach is perfect for a classic Peninsula beach day, with rugged ocean views, waves, and rock pools to explore at low tide. In summer, you’ll find lifesavers on patrol and a kiosk nearby, and it’s just a short stroll to Sorrento’s main street or scenic coastal walks towards Portsea and Blairgowrie.

Bridgewater Bay, Blairgowrie
Bridgewater Bay—sometimes called St John’s Wood—is known for its iconic jumping rock overlooking a deep, clear pool. A local rite of passage (not for the faint-hearted), it’s also great for exploring rock pools, though note the beach is unpatrolled and has no amenities.

Is a quieter Peninsula gem, perfect for a relaxed beach day away from the crowds—ideal for unwinding with a book.

Peninsula Hot Springs
